Application Lifecycle Management
The Soil and Water Assessment (SWAT) tool's stream degradation model (SWAT-DEG) was developed by USDA-ARS with Texas A&M University (TAMU). It is a simplified version of the SWAT watershed model focusing on a single sub-basin for the purposes of analyzing urban stream degradation (down cutting, widening, etc.).
The currently available service performs a deterministic model run based on the provided watershed characteristics and climate data.
