Description
  • area: calculates the area of layer(s)*, in meters
  • envelope: calculates the bounding box of layer(s), defined by ((MINX, MINY), (MINX, MAXY), (MAXX, MAXY), (MAXX, MINY), (MINX, MINY))
  • minboundingcircle: Returns the smallest circle polygon that can fully contain layer(s). You may optionally specify the number of vertices per quarter circle of the boundary, defaults to 48
  • minboundingrectangle: Returns the smallest rectangular polygon that can fully contain layer(s)
  • union: Returns a geometry that represents the point set union of layer(s)
  • extent: Essentially the same as envelope, but an aggregate function
  • buffer: Returns a geometry that represents all points whose distance from layer(s) is less than or equal to distance, in meters
  • intersect: Returns a geometry that represents the shared portion of layer(s)
  • transform: Returns a layer with its coordinates transformed to the SRID referenced
  • difference: Returns a layer that represents that part of layer A that does not intersect with layer B
