Wind Erosion (WEPS) Simulation (csip-erosion/m/weps/1.3)

20170425: This service runs the Wind Erosion Prediction System (WEPS) model version 1.3.9, and for a little while longer is being used by the Field to Market (FtM) Fieldprint Calculator. Previously it supported testing of the NRCS Integrated Erosion Tool (IET) and early training sessions during 2016. The service has a few issues with mapping RUSLE2 crops to WEPS crops. The service recognizes soil component keys from a 2014 NRCS SSURGO database and fetches soil .ifc files from a web server for input to the model. The service has been superseded by newer versions that run WEPS model version 1.5.52.
