Ungauged flow estimator or UFLOW is a model based off of the U.S. Geological Survey's Stream Stats program. UFLOW calculates design high flows for an ungaged basin based on regional hydrologic characteristics. This is useful for water-resources planning and management, and for engineering design applications, such as the design of bridges or storm drains. UFLOW uses regression equations that were developed by U.S. Geological Survey and produce estimations for statistical flow values.
