When GRAS-1a is called using Method 3 and the input FeatureCollection contains a MultiPolygon feature type that is not the first feature listed and the first feature listed is only a Polygon type, the service incorrectly merges the MultiPolygon into a Polygon.
NOTES:
This is a bug in all FeatureCollection geoJSON parsers. The geoTools parser we use assumes that the first listed feature's type is that of all the other types and causes this bug.
A work-around can be developed in the CSU csip-gis-objects library to attempt to account for this error in the parser behavior.
